Our Mission:
KEEP BLACK LOVE ALIVE is a story-telling and story-catching national campaign to document COVID TRUTH + COVID LOVE to preserve cultural memory. October 15 - February 14, 2022, the purpose is to address the consequences of truth decay.
The campaign has seven goals:

Immunize our community from truth decay

Conduct a wellness check in our communities

Mobilise the community to advocate for investment to strengthen public health infrastructure,

Community Care
Fortify a network of community care

Address Health Inequity
To address root causes of health inequity; boosting confidence in the safety and effectiveness of vaccines,

Combatting Complacency about the pandemic
Combating complacency about the pandemic, and

Help in the rural South
Increasing the convenience of getting vaccinated in the rural South.
The overall goal is to serve as a definitive point of truth for Black Americans + a repository for COVID TRUTH and COVID LOVE Stories (upload and share video capture or a 250 word story).
The Campaign Elements:

Address
Address conspiracy theories and disinformation through truth-telling and myth-busting narrative campaigns

Expand
Expand vaccination access at the community level

Implement
Implement culturally relevant communication strategies that use personal narratives and emphasize the need to strengthen the public health infrastructure

Tailor
Tailor messages, messenger and messaging platforms to our communities' root causes of hesitancy

Identify
Identify strategies to boost vaccine acceptance among those with political, religious, or conspirational reasons for vaccine avoidance, and individuals who may identify with the anti-vaccination movement that existed prior to COVID-19.

Foster
Foster a sense of belonging and community associated with vaccination to replace the appeal of endorsing conspiracy theories

Leverage
Leverage technology to promote optimal well-being, such as convenient, "smart" schedulling and tailoring messages via text-messaging to those who have not yet been reached.
